Why We Built This Site
Georgia public access does not put every warrant in one place. A Gilmer County court issues the order, a clerk maintains court material, and GCSO Court Services carries out criminal-warrant service. Bench-warrant questions often remain with Ellijay Municipal Court, East Ellijay Municipal Court, Magistrate Court, Probate Court, or Superior Court. Checking only one office can produce a false sense that the matter is clear. We organize the official phone numbers, portals, records procedures, and limits around the office most likely to hold the record.
What You Will Find Here

- Outstanding warrants: how to check for active warrants and what an "active" status actually means
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Charge-based warrants: how arrest warrants are issued and served in Gilmer County
- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to a Georgia court, the Gilmer County Sheriff's Office, or any government agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or the agency holding or serving the warrant can confirm whether it exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can identify likely contacts, but the official answer must come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
